OUR STORY
We are a family owned and run company that is proudly African. Our story begins on a farm in Zambia, where we hand-make all of our natural skincare products. It was during a family meal one night that the discussion turned to the harmful and synthetic substances found in commercial beauty products we were using. We were so careful about what we ate, yet we were putting a cocktail of chemicals on our skin. And so the idea of SKIN was born.
Kigelia (Bignoniaceae family) is an African small, twisted tree that grows to a height of 15 meters. The elongated, very large fruits, which hang from the end of a long stalk and weigh up to 10 kilos, have earned the tree the name of "sausage tree". It is planted in villages
The benefits of Moringa Oleifera for the skin have convinced us that there is never too much of a good thing. For that reason we have created an entire face range, with its wealth in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals it is one of the best natural anti ageing ingredient.
SKIN uses natural African oils, carefully blended to create a uniquely African product. We endeavour to source local and sustainable ingredients, in line with our ethos of supporting local communities and protecting the environment.
